Pennsylvania’s Heartland - About Us
The Pennsylvania Heartland Partnership is a network of regional
organizations with a common interest in education, workforce, and
economic development; created to promote the effective use of
resources that will nurture an innovative economy that enhances
the quality of life in the Pennsylvania Heartland. The goals of
the Partnership are to:
· Enhance
communications and flow of information among the Partnership
members.
· Coordinate,
integrate and maximize the resources, knowledge and expertise of
the partnership’s members
for the benefit of the region.
· Identify
regional needs, issues and opportunities that are of common
interest
to Partnership members,
and develop, implement and support regional initiatives.
· Engage
other partners and resources external to the Partnership, as
necessary,
to support specific
initiatives.
· Support
other regional collaborations and initiatives external to the
Partnership,
as appropriate.
· Advocate
a regional perspective and develop and coordinate strategies to
promote
the branding of
“Pennsylvania’s Heartland”.
· Increase
the pace of effective innovation.
