Professional and campus music, dance, and theatre events, as well as lectures, convocations, and other functions are held in the 1,200 seat Weis Center, an architecturally striking and acoustically exceptional performance hall. The hall boasts two Steinway concert grand pianos, the lobby is home to a collection of watercolors by artist David Armstrong '69, and the building contains rehearsal rooms for Bucknell's large instrumental and choral ensembles.

The Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble was founded in 1978 to establish a resident professional ensemble for the production of quality entertainment and educational programs for the region, and to promote the arts.

On the mainstage of the Alvina Krause Theatre, BTE has produced over 150 plays. The production history includes American and European classics by Euripides, Shakespeare, Moliere, Chekhov, Beckett, Shaw, Miller, Wilder and Williams, as well as adventurous contemporary plays. In recent seasons the Ensemble has created original works based in regional history and folklore.

With over 2,100 seats, exceptional acoustics, hospitable staff, and excellent amenities, the Community Arts Center is a great entertainment value. 

Painstakingly restored to its original 1928 grandeur, the Arts Center has entertained nearly 800,000 patrons since 1993 with such sell-out attractions as Bill Cosby, Barry Manilow, Anne Murray, Chicago, B. B. King, "Cats," "Grease," Lonestar, Tori Amos, Foreigner, Willie Nelson, David Copperfield, Michael Bolton, Kenny Rogers, Three Dog Night, and many more.

The Center plays host to the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra, Williamsport Civic Ballet, and Civic Chorus.

The Ballet Theatre of Central Pennsylvania was founded in State College in 1992.  Since that time the company has performed dozens of original and traditional ballet works.

Nommo Performing Arts Company of Pennsylvania State University is devoted to inspiring an appreciation of art from the Black Diaspora through dynamic displays of music, dance, theater, and song.

The Nommo Performing Arts Company focuses on integrating the three art forms (dance, theatre, music) into a unified experience that reflects the culture and traditions of Africans and African-Americans.  The material, both traditional and original, that is performed by the company is selected with the intent of educating and informing. Through the company’s performances, some combined, some as isolated features, the actors, dancers, singers, and musicians provide their audiences with images from traditional African and contemporary African-American life.

The Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts is an annual celebration of the visual and performing arts that takes place each July in downtown State College, Pennsylvania, and on the adjacent campus of The Penn State University. The Festival includes the nationally recognized Sidewalk Sale and Exhibition, two juried gallery shows, Images and Crafts National, Children and Youth Day, educational opportunities, and music dance and theatrical performances in a variety of traditional and non-traditional venues

Susquehanna Valley Festival of the Arts
The Susquehanna Valley Festival of the Arts is held each June on the campus of the Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport.  Stroll through the campus and experience the valley’s arts and crafts, live music and culinary delights.  You can also take the opportunity to meet the local artists and learn about their pottery, jewelry and paintings.
